According to a 2014 study published in the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, pilots suffer an increased risk of clotting issues due to frequent and prolonged air travel. Pilots are encouraged to be aware of the signs of deep venous thrombosis and clotting issues and take preventative measures such as compression stockings and stretching of their legs during long flights.
Medical News Today published a study on June 15th, 2021 that showed an increased risk of blood clotting and low platelets in AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine recipients. Some scientists hypothesize that since the ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) in the shot causes a full body reaction, once the vaccine comes into contact with platelets inside the human body, the vaccine activates those platelets, causing them to change shape and transmit chemical signals to the immune system. Those platelets send out platelet factor 4 (PF4), which regulates blood clotting.
However, in some people, after some undetermined amount of time, at random, PF4 latches onto the vaccine, and large “complexes” form. Since those complexes are “unknown,” the human body interprets those clusters as threats. Thus, immune cells in the body mistakenly attack PF4’s, prohibiting them from preventing the problematic clots seen in some COVID-19 vaccine recipients.

British Airways boasts that 85% of its employees are vaccinated. Airlines are so quick to obey the COVID-19 vaccine narrative that they forget the welfare of their own employees is at stake.
According to flightaware.com, 120,000 cancellations per year is the average for global flights. An average day would see 329 cancellations. A 2 day average would see 658 cancellations. But between Friday and Saturday (ER: the 18th to 19th), 3,533 cancellations occurred. That’s a 580% increase in cancellations globally in the past 2 days.
Southwest delayed or cancelled hundreds of flights last week and blamed a host of issues such as technical difficulties and weather on the cancellations and delays. American Airlines announced Sunday that it would cancel hundreds of flights through mid-July. American blames weather issues and labor shortages on its preemptively cancelled flights. British Airways, which has seen at least 4 pilots die recently, cancelled hundreds of flights but then furloughed thousands of its employees with 85% pay this week.
Not to worry: the same agencies (mainstream media, Reuters, and Fact Checkers) tasked with exploring the safety and efficacy of a vaccine for the general public and for pilots who transport 6 million people per day also ruled out a Wuhan lab leak and any conceivable voter fraud in the 2020 elections. Those agencies have reversed their stance on one of those issues, the Wuhan lab leak, only after it became impossible not to do so. One day, it’s conceivable that the media may reverse its stance on the COVID-19 vaccine…when it becomes impossible not to do so…
Pilots are already at increased risk of blood clots; categorizing them as high risk for a vaccine with a known side effect of blood clots isn’t misinformation. It’s science.
For now, pilots should exercise their right to medical freedom and refuse to become vaccinated. Clearly, the truth isn’t coming anytime soon.

This is what the 2014 study says in summary: “Summary / Background /Airline pilots may be at increased risk of venous thromboembolism (VTE) because air travel has recently been established as a risk factor for VTE.” This is a study from 2014 and makes no reference to any vaccine or genetic injection. If a ‘vaccine’ they are then obliged to take increases the risk of VTE, then you have a 1+1 situation going on for the pilots.
The study linked literally says there is no increased risk. So…did you misread, assume no one would check the claim (which apparently only myself and one other commenter did, so that may be a reasonable assumption), or what? As an informed consent advocate who does not like this jab, I’m as inclined as the next to point out the risks and side effects, but misinformation does more to hurt truth and false claims make it easier to overlook the actual evidence.

In fact it specifically states in “Results and conclusions” that “We conclude that the risk of VTE (venous thromboembolism) is not increased amongst airline pilots (compared to the general public).” You need to read it again without your filters. Nevertheless, it’s a good place to start to compare with a more recent peer-reviewed study of there is one.

I’m a pilot, and unless the rules have changed…. the holder of a Private pilot license must undergo a physical every two years. A Commercial pilot’s license requires a physical every year. A Commercial pilot flies cargo, an Air Transport pilot flies human cargo.
An Air Transport pilot must get a physical every six months, no matter the age. At 65 one can no longer be an Air Transport pilot.
Pilots, health care workers who sincerely operated during Covid pandemic all over world were rather forced to work under most adverse conditions, many died, leaving their dear ones crying.
Those who were supposedly vaccinated were neit6given sufficient time to develop the antibodies nor they were tested for antibodies. Not just this vaccination was not ensured before they were sent to highly endemic areas.
This is totally criminal on the part of management, concerned authorities and the government of the day. I doubt if anyone is listening or anyone would come forward to take action against the “criminals”. Let alone that there is no compensation for the bereaved families, if a claim is made, there are so many ifs n buts discouraging already troubled, saddened families.
Southwest Airlines cancelled over 1000 flights last weekend due to “weather” or “potential weather.” Total BS. They built out their schedule beyond what the number of pilots on the line could fly. Now, they are blaming it on the weather. The Southwest reputation for great customer service is almost non-existent today with a total lack of reliability in being able to get people from A to B reasonably reliably. Some city pairs, like Cleveland to Chicago Midway have a history of 50% cancellations. Who would rely on a carrier with such horrible reliability? I know scores of local long-time SWA customers who are livid.
